  Marina Does Archery?
Mariners are keeping up with the times by participating in archery in physical education. The discovery of the first stone arrowheads in Africa indicates that the bow and arrow were invented maybe as early as 50,000 BC. Of course, our ancient relatives needed them to catch dinner and win wars. In recent ages, bow and arrows have been transformed into a sport called "Archery". Archery has been an Olympic sport since 1900. Fast forward to 2010 as students at Marina del Rey Middle School are safely learning the sport!
