Culmination Requirements

6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Culmination Requirements
 
In order to receive a Certificate of Completion and participate in the Culmination Ceremony, students must:
1. Pass all courses in grades 6-8
      * In order to make-up for any Fails in 6th and 7th grade, students must earn a "D"
        or better in all classes during the 8th grade year
      * If a student recieves a Fail in the Fall semester, it can be made up by receiving
        a "C" or better in the Spring semester.
2. Have no more than 2 U's in Work Habits (from different teachers)
3. Have no more than 2 U's in Cooperation (from different teachers)
4. Have a clear financial record (no overdue library books, all textbooks returned, etc.) 5. Others as applicable (disciplinary matters, etc.)
 
 
In order to participate in 8th grade activites (movies, pizza parties, dance, picnic, Magic Mountain, etc), students must:
1. Maintain a "C" average (or 2.0 GPA) on each report card
2. Have no more than 2 U's in Work Habits (from different teachers)
3. Have no more than 2 U's in Cooperation (from different teachers)
4. Others as applicable (disciplinary matters, etc.)
